Felt is an amazingly resilient textile. The cushion above is a restored 1930 Felted Souvenir Pillow from Niagara Falls, Canada. The original felted background had disintegrated!  The Art Deco rose, yellow inlay, black and yellow felted letters are all original and have been re-felted onto a new black wool felt background.
